Sami Moubayed
MD, FRCSC

Dr. Sami Moubayed is the first graduate in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery from the University of Montreal to be awarded the prestigious McLaughlin subspecialty prize given yearly to a single graduate among all medical and surgical specialties. He has a double sub-specialization in (1) facial plastic and reconstructive surgery from the prestigious Stanford University in California and (2) in head and neck reconstruction and cancer surgery in New York. He is an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Montreal, has more than 65 publications, and is the author of a textbook in facial plastic surgery. His fields of expertise are nasal and facial surgery, facial reconstruction after accidents and cancer, and facial paralysis.

Yalon A. Dolev
MD, FRCSC

Dr Dolev is a Head and Neck Surgeon who specializes in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Dolev completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology with a minor in the Social Studies of Medicine. He then received his MD degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Fascinated by the intricate anatomy of the head and neck, he continued on to complete his residency at McGill University’s Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery program. He then went on to complete a Fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center. During his training, Dr. Dolev gained a better appreciation for the artistry and creativity involved in both the cosmetic and reconstructive aspects of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His training in both Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provide Dr. Dolev with an intimate understanding of the anatomy of the head and neck and all of the complex conditions that affect it. This provides him with the unique ability to safely and comprehensively treat functional, aesthetic and reconstructive conditions.

Zahi Abou Chacra
MD, FRCSC

Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra graduated from the McGill University School of Medicine and from the Univerity of Montreal in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He was awarded the H.S. Burkitt memorial prize from McGill University for achievement in his discipline. He then traveled to Houston, Texas for further training in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. He is double board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He holds an MBA from McGill University and from HEC Montréal (École des Hautes Études Commerciales) and is actively involved in administrative positions in the healthcare system. He is currently chief of service at the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux du Nord de l’Ile de Montréal. He also sits on the board of directors of his CIUSSS. Furthermore his is on the board of directors of the Association des conseils de médecins, dentistes et pharmacien du Québec. His areas of special interest are functional and esthetic rhinoplasty.
